Cookies & Storage

The short version

Most of what we store is needed to make the site work and to remember what you do in it. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. One optional thing needs your say-so: anonymous usage statistics (which pages and lessons people use, and which link brought them). We ask once, and you can change your mind below at any time.

What we store on your device

Storage that is strictly necessary to provide a feature you asked for (staying signed in, keeping your progress) doesn't need consent under EU and UK rules. Here is all of it:

NameWhat it's forHow long

Usage statistics (optional)

If you press Allow, we store the two items below and record events such as pages viewed, lessons started or finished and buttons clicked, together with your first source and a rough device type (phone, tablet or desktop). We never record what you type. If you press No thanks, none of this is stored, and any ID or source already saved is erased. If you sign in to a free account we also record your own account's activity to run the service; declining switches that off too.

NameWhat it's forHow long
ct_aidA random ID that lets us count you as one visitor across visits. Not linked to your identity unless you sign in.Until you decline or clear your data
ct_attrWhere you first came from (the link's utm_source / utm_campaign, or the referring site), so we know which video or post brought you.Until you decline or clear your data

Page-view analytics

We also use Vercel Web Analytics for page views. It sets no cookies and doesn't follow you across days or sites; it only counts visits in aggregate.

Payments

When paid plans open, checkout is hosted by Stripe. Stripe may set its own cookies on its pages for security and fraud prevention. See Stripe's cookie notice.

Your choices

You can clear cookies and site data in your browser at any time. That signs you out and removes local progress that hasn't been synced to an account.
